When using a ladder the 2005 Work at Heights Regulations schedule 6 section 5 states:
The feet of a portable ladder shall be prevented from slipping by:

a. securing the stiles at or near their upper or lower ends; or
b. effective anti-slip or other effective stability device; or
c. Any other arrangement of equivalent effectiveness

The MultiStopper

Is a combination of a Stopper base and a pair of Extenders. This increases the width of the ladder base and fastens the Stopper base to the ladder.
